Awakening Live

I recently came across Adonai by the Awakening Band, who are apart of Awakening Conference. Now this isn't the standard blog, but more of a recommendation to go check out this amazing album.

Adonai, which is a Hebrew name for God (also seen as Adon) comes from Exodus 34:23. The album flows about how Jesus is Lord and King of Kings. It's constantly reflecting of God's holiness yet meets us just where we are. While I don't claim to be a musician or have much musical knowledge, the album flows from one song to another without over emphasize one song to the next. This album I would happily play on a Sunday instead of a normal Worship band. I have attached a Youtube link to Adonai's Live Music Video if you want to check out the album. The Youtube channel also has all the tracks on it if you want to try before you buy.

Track List
1. Alive
2. Make You Known
3. Ain't No Grave
4. Scandal Of Grace
5. No Other Name
6. Jesus Paid It All
7. Amazing, Because It Is
8. Forever
9. Adonai

If you have a new worship album budget (which I strongly recommend) then you need to buy this album. The album is only £6.99 and you will have some amazing times in your personal worship time with this album. It isn't too modern and isn't to old school, it has something in there for everyone.

If you really want to splash out this month then why not get Awakening Live with Jabin Chavez. On iTunes it is only £2.49! It has classic songs like Shout Unto God and more recent songs like One Thing Remains. There are incredible times where Jabin prays out and no matter wherever you are or age in your life you will feel like he is praying for you. He will help you push into God with the prayers. He will help you fix your eyes on Jesus.

Track List
1. Lost Are Found
2. One Thing Remains
3. Shout Unto God
4. Our God Reigns
5. Awaken Me
6. Set A Fire

I'm thinking that once a month I will do a review (if you can call it that) of a book or album or sermon, that has really helped me during the month, that I would love to share with you. Maybe it will open your eyes to other Christian artists, writers or teachers/preachers.
